A fugitive wanted in the Bay State for a homicide was arrested over the weekend when Maine police found him asleep behind the wheel.
Jean Michael Warner Delgado, 20, was wanted on a homicide charge out of Lawrence, Massachusetts, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called to Bridgton Road in Baldwin about 10:26 p.m. to conduct a welfare check on an apparently unconscious man in a vehicle there.
He was soon found to be a suspected fugitive.
Delgado was taken to the Cumberland County Jail in Portland, where he awaits extradition to Massachusetts.
