A federal investigator warned Maine officials about possible interpreter fraud schemes in a 2020 report that has not been disclosed until now. The findings come on the heels of fraud allegations against a major health care provider serving immigrants. Credit: BDN photo illustration

We keep hearing about “fraud” committed in blue states, followed with the threat of cutting off all funds. Since when are punishments meted out before proof of laws being broken?

So far, I’ve yet to see any widespread arrests, prosecutions, or convictions of the perpetrators of all these alleged “frauds.” Have we fallen so low that we don’t need to have public trials of offenders who commit these supposed frauds?

We have heard from the president accusing the Somali immigrants of committing these ‘”frauds.” If there is that much “fraud,” wouldn’t there be evidence proving the act of “fraud” has been committed.
