Mutual funds, in which many of us have our retirement funds, are heavily invested in CoreCivic. CoreCivic owns ICE detention centers and private prisons.

Human suffering and cruelty is big business and we are participating with our funds though we don’t even know it. Now that we do, do not turn away as your funds grow. Demand that your mutual funds divest from cruelty, divest from profiting from suffering.

In Maine, the hideous phrase,” Catch of the Day” was used by ICE. Each “body” brings mutual funds and CoreCivic profits. We are a part of this shameful cruelty. Demand to know if your mutual fund participates. Demand transparency and divestment.
