BLUE HILL — Hancock County Habitat for Humanity is now accepting applications for a new home at 20 Carter Way in Blue Hill. The newly constructed home is expected to be ready in the fall.
The home will include three bedrooms, two baths and 1,140 square feet of living space.
Habitat’s mission is to provide homeownership opportunities to those who may not qualify for traditional financing. The homeowner will be matched with an affordable mortgage based on income.
An eligible homeowner must demonstrate need, ability to pay and willingness to partner.
