Multiple people were taken to the hospital after an early morning house fire in Winn.

The fire started around 1:30 a.m. Thursday in the small town, which is located north of Lincoln, Office of the Maine State Fire Marshal spokesperson Shannon Moss said. The house was on Route 168 in Winn near the town line with Lee.

Multiple area fire departments responded to the fire, according to first responders at the Lincoln and Lee fire departments.

The state fire marshal investigators are processing the scene, Moss said.
