Bath Iron Works says that members of the Bath Marine Draftsmen Association union Saturday ratified a tentative agreement on a new four year contract.

BIW says this could potentially end a weeklong strike in which hundreds of technical staff walked out over wages, health care costs and retirement benefits.

BIW says training and implementation of the new elements of the contract will begin this week.
