The commercial building that was most recently home to Family Dollar has been sold, the listing agent announced on Friday.

The property on the corner of State Street and Broadway went on the market in June for nearly $1.4 million.

Listing agent Tricia Largay of Realty of Maine confirmed in a Facebook post that the sale had been finalized but did not list the sale price or identify the new owner, saying that the owner “would like to be the one to release details.”

The 14,630-square-foot building sits on 1.42 acres. Family Dollar put up banners in late April announcing it was closing and had closed by June when the property went on the market.

Largay said the building “will be a retail space” under the new ownership.
