A pro stock driver could leave with $35,000 in their wallet on Sunday at the inaugural Bar Harbor Bank and Trust 200 in Hermon.

It’s the highlight of a three-day weekend of racing at the Speedway Presented by Bar Harbor Bank and Trust and will conclude the first season under the track’s new owner, former NASCAR Cup Series race winner Ricky Craven of Newburgh.

There will be a 12-lap pro stock heat race, a 15-lap pro stock consolation race, heat races and a feature race in each of the Vintage, Road Runner and Sport 4 classes.

The BHBT 200 will be the last race of the day and will pay $15,000 to the winner and will also pay a driver $100 for each lap led.

It represents the most lucrative payout to a race winner in the 60-year history of the track, which used to be called Speedway 95.

Racing begins at 6 p.m. Friday, with three 33-lap segment races that comprise the Ikey Dorr Memorial Crown Vic 100-lapper, along with a 25-lap Dash 4 Cash Super Street/Street Stock shootout race and 10-lap Crown Vic heat race.

The Ikey Dorr Memorial, named after the Addison driver who died of an apparent heart attack while racing at the Hermon track, will pay $5,000 to the winner.

Saturday’s racing begins at 2 p.m. and will involve 10-lap Super Street/Street Stock and eight-lap Northeast Pro Sprint Series Series and Crown Vic heat races followed by a 12-lap Super Street/Street consolation race and then the 20-lap NEPS, 30-lap Crown Vic and 100-lap Super Street/Street Stock feature events.

The 100-lap Super Street/Street Stock winner will pocket $5,000.

There will be no shortage of contenders at the BHBT 200 with Austin Teras from Gray and D.J. Shaw from Center Conway, New Hampshire, headlining the list.

Teras and Shaw have each won a Granite State Pro Stock Series race at Speedway this season.

Teras was the U.S. Army 100 winner in June, and Shaw finished second. Rounding out the top five were Mike Hopkins of Hermon, Josh St. Clair from Liberty and Mathew Bourgoine from Stetson.

Hopkins, St. Clair and Bourgoine are also among the entrants.

Shaw captured the Stan Meserve Classic 128 at Speedway last weekend. Teras finished ninth.

Warren’s Sylas Ripley was second behind Shaw followed by Windham’s Cole Robie, Scarborough’s Garrett Hall and Gilmanton, New Hampshire, driver Casey Call.

Hall was the only one who hadn’t entered the race as of the Sept. 30 entry list.

Five Oxford 250 winners are included in the field including this past August’s victor, Brandon Barker from Windham.

Teras won the 2025 Oxford 250, Joey Polewarczyk from Hudson, New Hampshire, won it in 2012, and veteran Mike Rowe from Turner is one of the four three-time Oxford 250 winners as he took the checkered flag in 1984, 1997 and 2005.

Hopkins, Berwick’s Joey Doiron and current Granite State Series points leader Jeremy Sorel of Westfield, Massachusetts, will also be among the drivers to watch.

Sorel is followed in the Granite State Series points race by Polewarczyk, Shaw, Durham’s Evan Beaulieu and Woolwich’s Jamie Wright.

Shaw has won three of the six races he has been involved in. Beaulieu and Wright will also be in the field.
