Firefighters in Dexter battled a fire in an apartment building on Main Street Saturday morning.
The fire left 11 people unable to return to their homes, according to WABI, as the building suffered heavy damage and is uninhabitable.
One person, who went back into the building to retrieve a pet, suffered an injury that was treated at the scene, the television station reported.
The Dexter Fire Department closed several roads while the extinguishing the blaze.
