Police execute search warrant at Somali store in Lewiston as part of fraud probe

Police executed a search warrant at a Somali-owned store in Lewiston on Friday morning.

The search at The Little Mogadishu Store on Lisbon Street is part of an ongoing fraud investigation, according to the Lewiston Police Department.

The Department of Agriculture assisted Lewiston police.

The investigation is ongoing, and Lewiston police are releasing no more details at this time.

Lewiston police said Friday that the search is unrelated to immigration enforcement.
