CARRABASSETT VALLEY – The High Peaks Alliance invites outdoor enthusiasts to join them for an après ski social at the Bill & Joan Alfond Competition Center at Sugarloaf from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, March 27. This free event is open to everyone.
The social celebrates the Alliance’s work to ensure recreational access across Maine’s High Peaks region. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the Alliance team, take home trail guides and learn about improved access to backcountry glade skiing opportunities in the region.
High Peaks Alliance Executive Director Brent West will deliver a brief presentation on the Alliance’s mission, recent successes and upcoming projects. Light fare will be provided, and a cash bar will be available.
“This après ski social is a great opportunity for Sugarloafers and our community to come together and celebrate what makes Maine’s High Peaks so special,” said West. “We’re excited to share updates on our efforts to expand access to the trails and landscapes that make this region such a unique outdoor destination.”
