A Saint Albans man has been hospitalized after reportedly being hit by a car outside of his home last Friday evening.

Terrance Larry had been cleaning up near a ditch on his property when he was struck by an SUV, WABI reported Monday. He was transported to a Bangor hospital by LifeFlight.

According to the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office, a 16-year-old driver struck 55-year-old Larry. The driver did not stop after striking the man.

The teenager’s parents reportedly saw information about the crash on social media and suspected it was their son, according to WABI’s report.

The crash is under investigation. No charges have been filed at this time.
