BELFAST — On Saturday, May 2 at 7 p.m. celebrated Maine songwriters Sara Trunzo, Skip Bailey and Seth Gallant will perform in the round at Underground Lounge in Belfast for an evening of heartfelt folk, country and roots music. 

Located at 17 Court St., the Underground Lounge is a volunteer-run, DIY music series committed to sustaining live music through Maine’s long off-season. It is known for its warm, intimate atmosphere in which artists and audiences can connect.

Trunzo is an independent singer-songwriter, community organizer and radio host. Her music draws deeply from her adopted Maine home and the characters and needs of the community within it, as heard in her 2025 EP “Better Than I Was”. Her work has earned recognition from the Maine Songwriters Association and the International Acoustic Music Awards. Trunzo is a champion of the Maine songwriting scene, and produced a monthly songwriter circle in Searsport for several years. To learn more about Trunzo, visit www.saratrunzo.com.

Bailey, an award-winning folk and country artist who writes salt of the earth songs for salt of the earth people. Known for his honest storytelling, Bailey performs across the state, from Kittery to Lubec, connecting with audiences through heartfelt lyricism and timeless themes. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and music begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10–$20 (cash only) at the door. Homemade baked goods and beverages will be available by donation.
