The Bangor International Airport closed its runway on Friday afternoon after a small plane appeared to drive off the end of the runway.

No one was injured in the incident, according to the airport. Photos taken by WABI show a single-engine plane in the grass off runway 33.

The plane is registered to Augusta-based flight school Maine Instrument Flight, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

The airport advised travelers to check with their airlines about schedule changes.
