A 76-year-old Trescott man who had been reported missing since Friday morning was found by a Maine search and rescue dog team, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
Dennis Beckwith was found at about 8:45 a.m. Saturday, nearly 24 hours after he left his home for his morning walk.
He was transported by helicopter to an awaiting ambulance. Officials said his condition is non-critical at this time.
Maine Marine Patrol, Maine Forest Rangers and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office participated in the search.
