The actor, comedian and musician Fred Armisen was spotted in Lubec last week.
The “Saturday Night Live” alum and “Portlandia” star on Friday visited Lubec Coastal Gifts, where the owners warmly received him.
“He was a very nice fella,” they said in a social media post revealing his visit in Maine’s easternmost town.
It’s one of the first confirmed celebrity sightings in Maine this season. Every summer’s throng of tourists includes a smattering of celebrities from Lady Gaga to Matt Damon looking to get away for a few days and take in the peace and slower pace up here.
