A man and woman have been accused of making methamphetamine in Penobscot County.
Stephen Twist, 54, charged with unlawful drug possession, while Racheal White, 32, has been charged with unlawful drug possession, unsworn falsification and violation of her conditions of release, according to the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies stopped Twist and White, who allegedly tried to give the officers a false name, in Mattawamkeag on Tuesday.
During the traffic stop, deputies found crack cocaine and meth and evidence of a suspected “one-pot” meth lab inside the vehicle.
The investigation is ongoing.
