I think that Shenna Bellows could fill either the position of Maine governor or Maine U.S. senator competently and to the full satisfaction of Mainers.
However, that said, I was glad to see her drop out of the race to become the Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate. I think we need her exactly where she is, here at home, protecting Maine by following the rule of law as the secretary of state.
