Maine voters, do not miss this opportunity to elect a senator to represent us.
Susan Collins has not missed a vote in the Senate with over 10,000 consecutive votes and she is acclaimed as having the most bipartisan voting record in the Senate. Susan has been named to serve on the important Appropriation Committee and is currently serving as chairperson. This allows her to support legislation favorable to Maine and the nation and frequently is the deciding vote.
Her background comes from rural Maine and picking potatoes as her first job, which gives her a perspective of appreciation of Maine’s working population and she has continually supported working people in Maine. Her father was a decorated World War II veteran and both he and her mother served as mayors in their hometown in rural Maine.
I have known them for years and considered them good friends whom I have looked up to. Susan has lived up to their example serving as our senator from Maine.
Do not miss this chance to reelect a senator who I believe will vote for what is best for Maine and the country.
