MAINE TECHNOLOGY USERS GROUP HOLDS STATE’S LARGEST BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY CONFERENCE ON MAY 26.
The nonprofit Maine Technology Users Group (MTUG) invites IT professionals, managers and technology enthusiasts from all industries and sectors to the 2022 Information Technology Summit and Tradeshow on Thursday, May 26th, 7:30am-4pm, at the Holiday Inn by the Bay, 88 Spring Street, Portland, Maine.
The MTUG IT Summit is Maine’s largest business technology conference with 12 educational sessions, 50 vendor booths, and ample time to explore a broad range of IT topics, products, and services.
Workshop tracks include Security, IT Infrastructure, “Disruption”, and IT Workforce Development. Topics will include a discussion of the SDWAN, Using Microsoft Defender for Endpoint security, Security and Privacy in legacy IT systems, Lessons from the Okta Breach, AWS deployment, Discussion of MITRE Security Tools, the Disrupted Hybrid Workspace, Recruitment & Retention strategies, and more. Presenters come from an array of industries, including business services, supply chain, education, finance, marketing, and government services/law.
Keynote Bill Pierce, CIO of The Jackson Laboratory will present “Agility and Resilience in an Age of Complexity”, harnessing his deep understanding of analytics, technologies, and organizations to help enlighten our path through increasingly complex and volatile times.
Admission is $55 “early rate” by 5/13/22, $60 Advance and $65 on the event day. Student discount available. Fee includes workshops, tradeshow floor access, continental breakfast, lunch, and door prizes. MTUG is a nonprofit organization focused on bringing educational events and resources to the IT community. Proof of vaccination and masking may be required per policy posted on event page.
