A Day of Loving Kindness exploring practices from different Buddhist traditions is offered by Nancy Hathaway of Tea House Zen of the Morgan Bay Zendo, 532 Morgan Bay Road in Surry on Sunday, May 15 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. The morning will begin with tea in the Zendo, followed by introductions, a talk and practices of Loving Kindness from a variety of eastern traditions from Asia. We will do a silent walking meditation to the Zendo Moss Garden where there is a statute of Kannon, the Japanese personification of Loving Kindness.
