Each year, Friends of Katahdin Woods and Waters and Maine Beer Company present the Anniversary Celebration of Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument. Join Friends, supporters, businesses, and families from the Katahdin region, the state of Maine, and beyond for music, food, and a rousing toast (with Maine Beer Company’s Woods and Waters IPA!) to commemorate the monument’s August 24th, 2016 proclamation.

The Anniversary Celebration has become a tradition of gathering community members and stakeholders invested in the future of the monument and the projects that support it to celebrate all the monument and the Katahdin region have to offer. This year’s celebration will feature a buffet dinner, live performance by Firefly the Hybrid, a raffle, and an evening of fun activities. Friends will be partnering with and promoting local and Maine-based organizations to help you find your Katahdin region outdoor experiences throughout the weekend.
