On Thursday, January 19th and January, 26th, New Renaissance Singers will kick-off their spring season by opening up their rehearsals to any singers who are interested in being a part of an amazing choral community! Rehearsals are held weekly at The Unitarian Universalist Society of Bangor, 120 Park Street from 6:45pm – 8:15pm.

Now in its 30th year, NRS is a non-auditioned community choir that performs an eclectic repertoire from Madrigals to Mainstream music of today. All who share a love of singing are most welcome to come to our rehearsal and see what being a part of NRS is all about!
Under the direction of Molly J. Webster and Collaborative Pianist, Terrence Henry, NRS has an exciting season planned with works fromThomas Morley to Clara Schumann to Billy Joel and beyond! The repertoire will focus around themes of beauty, love, nature, and the excitement of the encroaching spring; there is definitely something for everyone!
*Please note: COVID mitigation techniques may be implemented (as applicable) while singing to protect our membership and community. This includes masking. KF94s/KN95s are provided. Proof of vaccination is currently required.
