The Belfast Bay Watershed Coalition invites you to join two outings in September: a paddle up the Passagassawakeag River on September 10 and a tree identification walk on the Belfast Rail Trail on Saturday, September 24.

For the September 10th outing, paddle your canoe or kayak up the Passagassawakeag River with the help of the rising tide, past an eagle nest to the Head of Tide. When the tide turns, we’ll let it take us back down to Belfast. Meet your trip guide, Tom Murphy, at the Belfast Boathouse at 10:00 am. Bring your boat, paddle, PFD, water, lunch, protection from rain, sun, and wind. Binoculars optional. Trip depends on weather. The trip is limited to 12 boats.
