The Christian Science Church in Bangor will be holding its annual Thanksgiving service on Thanksgiving Day at 10 a.m. in the church edifice at 939 Broadway. All are welcome.

This special service will include music and hymn singing and a reading of the Presidential (U.S.) Proclamation for Thanksgiving Day 2023.

A Thanksgiving Bible Lesson will be read from The King James Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, the Founder of the Christian Science Church. A period of time is set aside for testimonies and sharing of gratitude from attendees appropriate for the occasion or attendees may just sit and listen to the sharing from the audience. No collection will be taken for this free event.

The service will last about an hour. Childcare will be provided and children are welcome.

The church holds its regular Sunday service at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday and the public is welcome. The church also holds it regular Wednesday testimony meeting every Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. and everyone is invited.
