The Thanksgiving Play follows a group of liberal white people as they grapple with questions of political correctness, historical accuracy, and what it means to actually be an ally to members of the Indigenous community. Native American playwright and MacArthur Genius grant recipient, Larissa FastHorse, offers up a hysterical satire about how one might represent the legacy of colonial violence when your audience is made up of school children.
