Winter Fun Day

Date: March 4

Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Location: Hirundo Wildlife Refuge, 1107 W Old Town Rd, Old Town, ME 04468, Gate 1

Description: Let’s celebrate winter by spending the day outdoors. Registrants will have the opportunity to participate in a host of activities! Have you ever wanted to enter a biathlon or try your hand at curling? Now is your chance! Enjoy food and drink, while watching skill demonstrations. Explore our trails with FREE snowshoe rentals and visit our activity booths to learn more about nature and some of the signs of the season.

Please Note: Because of unpredictable weather we will have a March 5th snow date. If the scheduled March 4th date changes individuals will be notified via email and social media.

Remember to dress in layers and check the weather before you head to the event.
