GRAY, Maine (AP) – A flood watch has been posted for western Maine’s Oxford County as the state braces for more rain.

The National Weather Service says rain is expected to be heavy at times Wednesday, totaling an inch or two in some areas, as a low-pressure system remains stalled across northern New York.

The moist pattern is likely to continue Thursday and Friday, with showers and thunderstorms most numerous during the afternoon and cool temperatures struggling to make it above 70.
