SADIE H. WOODWORTH SOUTH GOULDSBORO Sadie H. Woodworth, 97, died Aug. 22, 2008, at a Milbridge health care facility. She was born March 30, 1911, in South Gouldsboro, the daughter of George and Florence (Sargent) Hanna. Born again Aug. 3, 1948. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Kenneth in 1992. Sadie was a pianist for many years at Unionville Church of God and also Union Evangelical Church, South Gouldsboro. She loved gospel music, was an avid reader and also a great lover of cats and dogs. Survived by her daughter, Peggy Fleming and her companion, Scott Thomas, of Cherryfield; her granddaughter, Amy Hall and her companion, Randy Pinkham, of Steuben; one great-granddaughter, Pearl Elizabeth Pinkham; and a sister-in-law, Lillian Wilkes of Ellsworth; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be missed by her many close friends and relatives; and her cat, Becky. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Gussie Johnson, Clara MacCrae, Leone Demmons; and one brother, John Melvin Hanna. In keeping with her request, there will be no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, at Hillside Cemetery, South Gouldsboro.
