THERESA R. (DAMBOISE) WHITE OLD TOWN – Theresa R. (Damboise) White, 75, took her husband’s hand and went home with the Lord Aug. 22, 2008. She spent her last days at her daughter’s home in Bucksport. Theresa was born Oct. 10, 1932, in Bangor, the daughter of William and Gladys (Wright) Damboise. She is survived by her son, Robert White Jr. of Greenfield; her daughter, Janet and Donald Skillin of Bucksport; her granddaughter, Sarah White; grandson, Donald Skillin and his wife, Candace, of Bucksport; and by her three great-grandchildren, Bryana, Zachary and Autumn of Bucksport. Theresa is also survived by her two sisters, Mary Rustin of Milford and Barbara Desjardin of Old Town; her five brothers, Gerald and Barbara Damboise, William and Deanna of Old Town, Shorty and Gretchen of Florida, Roy of Howland and Dickey and Delphina of Connecticut; many nieces and nephews; and a very special niece, Debbie Gilman. She was predeceased by her parents; her loving husband of 57 years, Robert; and two sons, Anthony and John. Theresa enjoyed her gardening, painting and spending time with family. She was a member of Holy Family Church, Old Town. She was past president of Old Town Emblem Club No. 64 and a member of Old Town Elks Ladies Auxiliary. She worked at Old Town Shoe and Bowley’s Jewelry, Old Town. A Christian funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 29, at Holy Family Church, 429 Main St., Old Town. Family and friends are invited to share stories and memories of Ther-esa at a luncheon immediately after the Mass in the parish hall. Services are entrusted to Birmingham Funeral Home.
