MICHAEL FRANCIS CURRIER II STOCKTON SPRINGS – Michael Francis Currier II, 34, died unexpectedly Aug. 26, 2008, in Prospect. He was born May 15, 1974, in Belfast, son of Michael Currier Sr. and Cynthia (Lermond). He was a 1991 graduate of Belfast Area High School. Michael owned and operated Busy Bee painting. He was an accomplished artist and loved kids and basketball. Survivors includes his maternal grandmother, Geraldine Robinson of Camden; his father and stepmother, Michael and Annette Currier Sr. of Morrill; his mother and stepfather, Daniel and Cynthia Griffin of Montville; four brothers, Jason Currier of Portland, Jeff Wilmore of Morrill, Derek Griffin of Warren and Travis Griffin of Waldoboro; a sister, Shanna Wilmore of Morrill; an aunt, Lori Dargon; an uncle, Donnie Milliken; a cousin, Alice Weeks; several other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A celebration of Michael’s life will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast, with the Rev. Allen Gregory officiating.
