JOHN L. DUNROE DEDHAM – John Leroy Dunroe, 45, passed away unexpectedly, Aug. 31, 2008, at his home. He was born Sept. 1, 1962, in Miami, the son of Capt. Terrence W. Dunroe and Maryann Vyszwany. John was a graduate of Hampden Academy, Class of 1981. He was a mason, well-known for his quality brick work. John was a member of the Exiles M.C. John is survived by his loving partner of 24 years, Sharon Gilley; mother, Maryann Vyszwany and her husband, John, of Arizona; uncle, Billy Neveil of New Jersey; aunts, Gloria Dunroe of Hampden, Mary Fleming of Kenduskeag and Cynthia Gamage and her husband, John, of Yarmouth; cousins, Greg Dunroe and his wife, Wendy, of Hampden, Jerry Dunroe of Hampden, Mike Dunroe and his wife, Sandy, of Vermont, Tom Dunroe and his wife, Connie, of Hampden and Lindsey Rich and her son, Lucas, of New Jersey; and special friends, Bob and Allen Bowley. John was predeceased by his father, Terrence in 1981. A memorial visitation will be held 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, at Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer. A reception will be after at the Exiles clubhouse.
