TODD ‘JUNIOR’ L. PENNY OLD TOWN and BILLERICA, Mass. – Todd Lauren Penny lost his life in a motorcycle accident Sept. 4, 2008. He was born March 7, 1980, in Concord, Mass., the son of Marianne and Steven Penny. Todd grew up in Billerica, Mass., moving to Maine with his family in 1989. He attended Billerica Memorial High School in Massachusetts for three years and graduated from Old Town High School in 1999. The birth of his daughter, Nakia Marie, in 1998, was the highlight of his life. Todd enjoyed time working on his S-10 Low-Rider, spending time with his family and friends, campfires and going camping, especially at Donnell Pond and Flagstaff Lake. He was an avid sports fan and greatly enjoyed watch-ing and attending the Celtics games and going to Nakia’s softball games. Todd worked at Downeast Toyota in the detailing/ reconditioning department. He was looked up to by all those he worked with and was also dedicated to his work. He was going to enroll at Eastern Maine Community College for paramedics. Todd was loved by many in Maine and Massachusetts. He is survived by his daughter, Nakia; his mother, Mari-anne Coakley; stepfather, Stephen Coakley; paternal grandmother, Eileen Penny; maternal grandmother, Marion P?rez; maternal grandfather, Porfirio P?rez; brothers, Daryl and his girlfriend, Deb, Eric and his wife, Katelyn, and Blaine; sisters, Alyssa and Katie; aunts and uncles, Susan, Sally, Anita, Juan, Thomas and his girlfriend, Donna, Clifford and Nathan; nieces, nephews and cousins, Taylor, Morgan, Cameron, Emily and Steven. Mr. Penny will be lovingly remembered by his girlfriend, Billie Jo Corey; and his special friends, Dan I., Daryl D., Johnny B., Jason G., “guys” at Downeast Toyota and Varneys, Katie G., Joe Ben, Luggy and Bobbie G. He was predeceased by his father, Steven J. Penny and paternal grandfather, Harold Penny. A visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town.
