FAIRFIELD, Maine – A truck carrying 18 tons of cattle feed has overturned on an I-95 bridge that spans the Kennebec River between Fairfield and Benton.
Troopers say northbound traffic is being detoured off I-95 after the 12:30 p.m. crash that left the rear of the truck dangling over the water.
The driver, 59-year-old Richard Laroche of Swanton, Vt., was able to crawl from the wreckage. He was taken to a Waterville hospital for treatment.
