BANGOR – A. Allen “Red” Ollove, 85, of 4200 North Ocean Drive, Singer Island, Fla., died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007, at Good Samaritan Hospital, West Palm Beach, Fla. Born in Providence, a son of the late Max and Elizabeth (Small) Ollove, he had lived in Florida for 15 years, previously residing in Bangor for more than 40 years. Red was a partner in Steven Studios, Bangor. He was a member of Temple Beth-El, Providence, R.I.; Temple Beth Israel, Bangor; and B’nai B’rith. He was the beloved husband of S. Madeline “Penny” Ollove; and former husband of the late Barbara (Feinstein) Ollove. He was the devoted father of Maxine Ollove of Morris Plains, N.J., Michael Ollove of Baltimore, and Peter Ollove of Scarborough; loving brother of the late Morris and George Ollove; and adored grandfather of seven. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Shalom Memorial Chapel, 1100 New London Ave., Cranston, R.I. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Anti- Defamation League.
