SPRINGFIELD – Adelbert J. Spinney, 64, died Oct. 10, 2006, at his home. He was born April 7, 1942, the son of Syrilla Spinney. Adelbert was a devoted husband and father. He spent most of his life driving truck and working with woods equipment. He loved gatherings with his family and friends. He loved the outdoors, including hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Georgie (Worcester) Spinney; his children, Kenneth Spinney and his wife, Marie, Kurt Spinney, Janice Carey, Karyn Austin and her husband, Earl “Bumby” Austin Jr., Koree Spinney and his wife, Misty; grandchildren, Kraig Spinney, Kyle Spinney, Kaeley Spinney, Shelby Spinney, Kassidy Austin and Joseph Austin; great-grandchild, Kaiden Spinney; a sister, Darlene Fogg and her husband, Raymond; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at Mills Cemetery with the Rev. Duane Waite officiating.
