EAGLE LAKE – Adrienne (Labbe) Berube, 97, died April 15, 2008, at an Eagle Lake health care facility. She was born March 30, 1911, in Wallagrass, the daughter of James and Maria (Marcoux) Labbe. Adrienne was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne, Catholic Order of Foresters, and Senior Citizens Club, all of Eagle Lake. She also was a Eucharistic minister for St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Eagle Lake. Adrienne was a fantastic cook, which she did often for her family and enjoyed knitting. Another one of her favorite pastimes was playing cards with her friends. She will be deeply missed. She is survived by her three daughters, Larry and Hilda Leudenburg of Apopka, Fla., Norman and Rachel Martin of Eagle Lake and Joseph Reno and Lorraine Dionne of Westfield, Mass. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, Tina, Jason, Nicki, Kelly, Kurtis, Sheryl, Donnie, Todd, Scott and Amie; 12 great-grandchildren, Justin, Anna, Jordyn, Grady, Kaytlyn, Ryan, Kyle, Jacob, Rebecca, Kaleb, Dillon and Trinity; several nieces and nephews; and two sisters-in-law. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Roosevelt Berube in 1986; her son, James Berube in 1990; one granddaughter; two brothers, Rene and Patrick Labbe. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday, April 20, and 9 a.m. Monday until time of departure for Eagle Lake at Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Eagle Lake. Spring burial will be held May 16, at the parish cemetery.
