ST. DAVID – Albert Daigle, 75, passed away unexpectedly June 25, 2008, at an Edmundston hospital. He was born April 16, 1933, in St. David, the son of Wilfred and Annie (Hebert). Albert worked at Frasier Paper Co. for 37 years, retiring in 1995. He was a communicant of St. David Church and a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of American Legion, Madawaska for 51 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeannine (Carrier) Daigle of St. David; two daughters, Debbie Tardiff and her husband, Steve, of Frenchville, and Tammy Cyr and her husband, John, of Van Buren; five stepchildren, Linda Bechard and her husband, Steve, Elaine Dionne and her husband, Cliff, Margot Hebert and her husband, Danny, all of Madawaska, Lena Morin and her husband, Marcel, and Tom Lagasse and his wife, Kim, all of St. David; 12 grandchildren, Renee, Tommy, Scott, Tracy, Chad, Daryl, Randy, Jamie, Jason, Jennifer, Casey and A.J.; four great-grandchildren, Dylan, Cameron, Zachary and Damyn; three brothers, Louis Daigle, Gerard Daigle and Armand Daigle, all of Madawaska; one sister, Florence Daigle of Presque Isle; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, June 30, at St. David Church. Friends and family may visit with the family 9 a.m. until time of service at the church. Interment will be at Caribou Veterans’ Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Albert’s memory may be made to Mizpah, P.O. Box 216, Grand Isle, ME 04746.
