TROY – Albert F. Phillips, 94, died Saturday, May 1, 2004, at his residence. He was born May 14, 1909, in Lambertville, N.J., the son of the late Albert S. and Florence Higgins Phillips. He had resided in Maine for the past two years, having previously resided in Oldwick, N.J. He was a retired dairy farmer in Readington Township, N.J. He was a member of Host Lodge No. 6, A.F. & A.M., High Bridge, N.J. He was predeceased by two sons, Alvin J. Phillips and John A. Phillips. He is survived by his wife, Beatrice Phillips of Bridgewater, N.J.; a son, David L. Phillips; and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth of Freedom; a daughter, Lois P. Hacik; and son-in-law, Walter S. of Troy; a daughter-in-law, Lillian Phillips of Freedom; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Orvil Phillips of Wernersville, Pa.; and a sister, Helen Stenabough of Westminster, Md. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Flemington, N.J. Interment will be in Harbourton Cemetery, Harbourton, N.J.
