MONSON – Alberta M. Jones, 78, died Nov. 20, 2003, at a Greenville hospital. She was born June 12, 1925, in Bowdoinham, daughter of John and Kathleen Hlister. She worked for many years as a spinner in the local woolen mills. She was predeceased by her husband, Thurlow C. Jones. She is survived by two daughters, Sharon and her husband, Raymond Arnold, of Monson, and Ellen Adkins of Dover-Foxcroft; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2003, at the Hillside Cemetery in Monson, with the Rev. Father James Robichaud officiating.
