VERO BEACH, Fla. – Mrs. Aldena M. Tibbitts, 77, went to be with her Lord, Nov. 2, 2007, at Shands Healthcare, Gaines-ville, Fla. She was born April 26, 1930, in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, and lived in Vero Beach, Fla., for 19 years, coming from Calais. Mrs. Tibbitts was a member of Vero Beach Community Church; she was active in the Christcare Group and Community Church Memorial Reception of the Community Church and the Red Hat Honeys, Vero Beach, Fla. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Kenneth Tibbitts of Vero Beach, Fla.; son, Earl A. Tibbitts of Magnolia, Texas; daughter, Elizabeth Maciel of Houston; brother, Calvin Blaney of Sanjancinto, Calif.; sister, Natalie Doyle of Vero Beach, Fla.; grandsons, Jason, Derek and Devin; many nieces and nephews. Her parents, Alden and Rowena Blaney; and sister, Annabelle Agger, predeceased her. A private memorial service was held. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in memory of Aldena M.
