ALICE M. WING FRANKFORT – Alice Mae (Patterson) Wing, 77, wife of the late Clayton A. Wing, passed away Nov. 3, 2007, surrounded by her family at her home. She was born Jan. 28, 1930, in Frankfort, the daughter of Alton H. and Ethel S. (Littlefield) Patterson. Alice was a lifelong resident of Frankfort. She worked at Maplewood Poultry for many years in the hatchery. Alice enjoyed sewing, her vegetable and flower gardens, mowing her lawn and listening to the music of Daniel O’Donald. She was a generous lady and enjoyed cooking for Frankfort Congregational Church turkey suppers. Alice’s focus in life was always on her family whom she loved dearly. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Alice is survived by her children, Sandra Gilbert of Waterville, Donna Cunningham and her husband, Merlin, of Winterport, Sharon Cunningham and fianc?, Wayne Mc-Kay, of Glenburn, Steven Wing and Cathy Ryan of Prospect, Susan Rancourt and her husband, Kenneth Jr., of Frankfort, Debra Wing and Marty McKeen of Stockton Springs and Kathy Trefethen and her husband, Nathan, of Stockton Springs; two sisters, Louise Hussey of Bangor and Mildred Little of Saco; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; and many close friends, including Minnie Reigle. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Clayton, July 2005; a granddaughter, Sherry-Lee Gilbert; and by 11 siblings. Alice’s family thanks Hospice of St. Joseph Healthcare for their loving and attentive care to Alice, especially her personal care attendant, Alice. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pilgrim’s Home Cemetery, Monroe, with Pastor Steve Nute, pastor of Nealley’s Corner Church, officiating.
