MILLINOCKET – Alice V. “Ginny” Michaud, 88, wife of the late Lee Michaud Sr., passed away peacefully Friday, June 6, 2008, at Millinocket Regional Hospital. She was born May 2, 1920, in Milo, the daughter of Stephen and Helen (Lunt) Lynch. Ginny enjoyed playing Bingo, doing grid work, bowling, crocheting and going camping. She especially enjoyed visiting the Bar Harbor area, and listening to country-western music. She was the source of much happiness to many people who enjoyed her keen wit and pleasant comments. Ginny brightened the days of her caregivers and family, and was affectionately known at Katahdin Nursing Home as “Sunshine.” Ginny is survived by three children, June Pelletier of Millinocket, Lee Michaud Jr. and his wife, Angel, of Gorham and Sherry Davis and her husband, Bryant, of Millinocket; a brother, Donald Lynch and his wife, Joyce, of East Millinocket; a special sister-in-law, Beverly Lynch; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, Ginny was predeceased by three sons, Paul, Richard and Stephen; and siblings, Roland Lynch, Grace Levasseur, Paul Lynch and Pat Grenier. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, at Millinocket Cemetery with Deacon Danny Watson officiating.
