LOWELL – Allan W. Fuller Jr. was called home unexpectedly by our, Lord, Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. He was born March 31, 1954, in Lincoln. Allan was the son of Rhoda (Porter) Fuller Dolley and the late Allan W. Fuller. He attended Penobscot Valley High School in Howland. Prior to graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Army, and served in Germany for several years. Allan had a gift for masonry and took pride in constructing fieldstone fireplaces and walls. He loved country life and loved fishing. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Cherry Valcourt and her husband, Jacques, of Howland; three half brothers, Paul H. Dolley of Wilmington, N.C., Stephen Fuller of Westfield, Conn., Richard Fuller and wife, Mary Lou, of Woodstock, Conn.; three half sisters, Laura LeBreton and husband, Mark, of Milford, Diane Snow and husband, Howard, of Deming, N.M., and Jane Amaral of East Hartford, Conn.; several aunts (a special aunt, Fern Cummings), uncles, and cousins; three loved nephews, Christopher and Daniel Valcourt of Howland and Nicholas Dolley of Wilmington, N.C. Friends and relatives who wish, are invited to a fellowship and celebration at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, with Pastor Edward Costain officiating. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor. In lieu of flowers donations may be left at the funeral home to benefit the MANNA or the American Diabetes Association.
