CARIBOU and WASHBURN – Allen A. McDougall, 36, died unexpectedly Sept. 26, 2003, at Portland. He was born in Caribou, Aug. 1, 1967, the son of Gordon and Cora (Tarbox) McDougall. Allen was a 1985 graduate of Washburn High School as well as a 1993 graduate of the University of Maine at Presque Isle with a B.S. degree in Accounting. He then, went on to obtain his masters degree in accounting from UMPI. Allen was employed as an accountant for several local businesses. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps and attended the Family Christian Center. Surviving in addition to his mother, Cora, of Caribou; and his father, Gordon of Bangor; are two sons, Joshua Allen McDougall of Washburn, and Malcolm Gordon McDougall of Caribou; one daughter, Erica Marie McDougall of Washburn; five brothers, Gordon McDougall Jr. of Tulsa, Okla., Glenn McDougall of St. John, Kan., Alex McDougall of Limestone, Scott McDougall of Bangor, and Shawn McDougall of Tulsa, Okla.; his grandmother, Emma McDougall of Hampden; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, 2003, at the Chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home, with the Rev. Elden Wilcox officiating. Interment will be in the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery.
