DOVER-FOXCROFT – Alma M. Faucher, 75, wife of Leo Faucher, died Jan. 17, 2005, at a local hospital. She was born Oct. 4, 1929, in St. Zacharie, Quebec, the daughter of Alfred and Marianne Gagne. Alma and her family moved to Maine in 1957. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Dover-Foxcroft, where she was very active with the Bernadettes. She was employed at the Blethen House for 13 years, and at Hilltop Manor for 10 years. She also worked as a housekeeper for 14 years, and will be remembered by many for her high standards and meticulous care of their homes. She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Leo of Dover-Foxcroft; a daughter, Jocelyn and her husband, Philip Moore, of New Ipswich, N.H.; a son, Dennis and his friend, Neila, of Milford; a granddaughter, MaryAnn Faucher and her friend, Carl Hartung ,of Dover-Foxcroft; and a great granddaughter, Marie. A memorial Mass will be said 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 2005, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, with Father James Robichaud, celebrant. Spring burial will be in the family lot in Rural Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
