MILO – Alta J. Lamontagne, 77, wife of the late Stanley N. Lamontagne, died Dec 30, 2006, at a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home. She was born Feb. 27, 1929, in Milo, the daughter of Wesley W. and Sarah C. (Bradshaw) Clement. Alta had attended the Park Street United Methodist Church in Milo. She is survived by three sons, James of Dover-Foxcroft, Daniel of Carlsbad, Calif., and Scott and wife, Tracy, of Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif.; a stepson, Stanley and wife, Linda, of California; three brothers, John Clement of Milo, Gene Clement and wife, Connie, of Milo and Bradshaw Clement and friend, Frances Tuppa, of Orneville; five sisters, Catherine Ellis and husband, Sonny, of Parkman, Eleanor Bezzinni and husband, Robert, of Manchester, Conn., Priscilla Clement of Milo, Dorothy Larson and husband, David, of Milo and Mary Burton and husband, Richard, of New York; 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a stepdaughter, Linda; two brothers, Albert and Charles. Friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, at Lary Funeral Home, Milo. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007, at Park Street United Methodist Church, Milo, with the Rev. Michele St. Cyr officiating. A spring interment will be in the family lot at Evergreen Cemetery, Milo.
