SPRINGFIELD – Althea E. Munson, 64, wife of Norman Munson, died Oct. 7, 2003, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born in Lincoln, Jan. 4, 1939, the daughter of Richard and Thelma (Jones) Thibodeau. She loved to knit and raise her garden. She also loved fishing and bird hunting. In addition to her husband, Norman, of Springfield, she is survived by three brothers, Richard Thibodeau of Lincoln, Barney Thibodeau of Portland and Linus Thibodeau of Lewiston; two sisters, Evelyn Osnoe of Burlington and Myra Dobson of Lincoln; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Teddy and cat, Betsy. She was predeceased by two brothers, Carlton and Val Thibodeau. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct.10, 2003, at Woodlawn Cemetery in Lee with the Rev. Mitch Bickford officiating.
