CARIBOU – Alton V. Morin Sr., 63, died Oct. 31, 2004, at his Caribou residence following a long illness. He was born Sept. 7, 1941, in Caribou the son of Samuel and Beatrice (Albair) Morin. Mr. Morin attended the Caribou schools and was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Al married Lorraine (Cowett) Morin, June 1, 1963. He was employed by the SW Collins Co. in Caribou for a number of years. Surviving in addition to his wife of more than 41 years, Lorraine, of Caribou; are his son, Alton Morin Jr. of Saco; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Doug Lagasse, of Caribou, and Debra and James Fish, of Durham; five brothers, Bernard Morin, of North Carolina, Roland Morin, of Connecticut, Galen Morin, of Stockholm, Philip Morin, and Roger Morin, both of Connecticut; four sisters, Phyllis Green, of Florida, Mary Riss, of Maryland, Betty Ann Bishop, of Georgia, and Nancy Steady, of Connecticut; four grandchildren, Heather, Chad, Lyndsey, and James; his mother-in-law, Blanche Cowett, of Caribou; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Fr. David Raymond, officiating.
