WESTFIELD – Alton W. Bell, 54, died Sunday, April 29, 2007, at a Presque Isle health care facility. He was born in Bangor, the son of Malcolm and Wileta (Nason) Bell. Alton graduated from Presque Isle High School, Class of 1970, served in the U.S. Navy for four years, and was stationed at Key West, Fla. Alton worked at Wettereau, IGA food distribution for a number of years. He is survived by his mother of Mars Hill; his wife, Rebecca Bell of Woodland; and a stepson, Jason Sherman of Ashland, Ore. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 26, at Marshall Cemetery, Westfield, with the Rev. Mark Hartley officiating.
